Amsterdam, NL, January 30, 2007, Stewart Filmscreen Corporation (Booth F110), the industry leader in precision projection screen technology in the home cinema and commercial markets‚ introduced its new FireHawk G3 1080p screen material today at ISE 2007. FireHawk G3 1080p, the next generation of Stewart's most popular home cinema projection screen's the first screen specifically designed for 1080p projectors and source material. FireHawk G3 1080p is aimed squarely at the latest projection technologies emerging at ISE. The longpromised true 1080p projectors are here. Pixel density is improved and the high-quality content is more transparent than ever before. This means that the screen must also disappear in concert with the pixel structure. The goal is to deliver depth, contrast, color, and resolution with enough excellence that the delivery system is not detectable. Firehawk G3 1080p accomplishes these goals. It is formulated with reduced surface texture, making the screen itself invisible and allowing the image to shine. FireHawk G3 1080p has a gain of 1.25, with a usable viewing cone of 28 degrees on either side. This allows brightly lit content to remain lively and vivid. The gain characteristic also allows the system designer to consider larger image sizes with single-chip DLP projectors, LCOS, or smaller LCD platforms. "We are embracing the new age of high-definition by offering the first screen engineered for 1080p" says Tim Nymberg, president of Stewart Filmscreen. ‚ÄúWith FireHawk G3 1080p, the new 1080p projectors have a readily available and complementary screen to further enhance the stunning image provided by high-def 1080p. At Stewart, our objective is to take a great looking image, and make it look better with our products. Image fidelity is the top priority. FireHawk G3 1080p is available in Stewart's new Microperf X2 THX Ultra certified acoustically transparent screen, which offers the best possible audio transmission, while completely eliminating moir. ### About Stewart Filmscreen Source: Stewart Filmscreen Corporation Press Contact: Stewart Filmscreen Contact:
