STEWART RECEIVES BEST OF DEMO ALLEY, AT EHX SPRING 2006 IN ORLANDO

Stewart Filmscreen Corporation®, industry leader in projection screen technology within both the residential and commercial markets‚ won Best Video Display of Demo Alley‚ during the Electronic House Expo Spring 2006 in Orlando, Florida held at the Orange County Convention Center, Room 202C. Demo Alley is a new specialized section of EHX that is dedicated to high performance audio/video. In this area, attendees learn about highend technologies and products. To encourage exhibitors to provide the highest quality and most informative demos possible, the, Best of Demo Alley‚ (BODA) competition, was created. Judges included ISF members and editors of Electronic House and CE Pro, among other industry luminaries.

There were many contenders, but Stewart out shined the competition with six stellar screens displays, including StarGlas, Stewart’s new versatile glass rear projection screen, the 2.40:1 CineCurve with maximum masking capabilities and fixed vertical height, and two additional curved screen models, the
CineW fixed 2.35:1 curved screen, and the CineV—a curved 2.35:1 screen with vertical masking panels.

Stewart also showed off the new Quiet Electric Screens, which silently descend from their encasements and the stylish Stewart Media Screen, which looks like a plasma but acts like a screen. Stewart Filmscreen shares the Best Video Award with Runco International who showed their CineWide with Autoscope technology along with a variety of other projectors.
