STEWART FILMSCREEN INTRODUCES ADJUSTABLE FRAME FOR LARGE REAR PROJECTION ACRYLIC SCREENS

• Acrylic Tamer ensures flatness of acrylic screens available in sizes up to 9 feet high by 24 feet wide
• Eliminates screen bowing and prevents warping

Las Vegas, NV - June 18, 2008 - Stewart Filmscreen Corporation®, the industry leader in precision projection screen technologies for the commercial and residential markets, today announces the Acrylic Tamer, a quality solution that prevents the common warping of acrylic screens that are 125-inches or greater.

Stewart’s Acrylic Tamer provides an adjustable frame that literally 'tames' the acrylic material. While acrylic screens certainly have their uses, especially in boardrooms, conference rooms, training rooms and large video conferencing suites, jumbo sizes in up to 24 feet wide have a tendency to warp or appear wavy.

Stewart performs a secondary process that cross-links poly methyl methacrylate (PMMA) molecules to ensure flatness. Then the adjustable hanging frame 'tames' the malleable acrylic and prevents it from warping or changing shape. It levels the screen from left to right and stabilizes it from the bottom. The frame is available in sizes up to 9 feet by 24 feet wide.

The Acrylic Tamer can be seen at InfoComm in Booth #N5827 in the Las Vegas Convention Center during InfoComm from June 18-20. The Acrylic Tamer will start shipping in Summer 2008. Price is dependant upon screen size.
